So eight points with a flush will generally have greater potential value than 8 points without a flush in hand. By the way the second best keep when looking at these cards if to hold 5-6-K-K and only 2% have made that choice. As indicated by others 7-K has less potential crib score than 6-7. Agree with those who describe non-dealer position as weak. Go for all you can get on hand score and pegs. Will lead the King. |

OFFENSE----Hand--Pegs---Crib---Total--W5 %---W6 % 5-6-Q-KC___10.57+1.85+(-3.93)=8.49__24.4____19.8 5-6-K-K_____8.07+1.72+(-4.13)=5.66__17.0____14.0 5-6-7-KC____7.80+1.70+(-4.28)=5.22___17.4____13.2 5-7-K-K_____7.80+1.39+(-4.04)=5.15___15.9____13.3 5-Q-K-K_____9.91+1.28+(-6.10)=5.09___21.8____13.9 No doubt about the best hand but in this board position the second best hand for Win %'s is the 5th (or 6th if you count 5-6-7-KD) on dynamic expected averages. After the 6 cut I'll play Offense and lead the Q. Lead------Net Peg Pts-------Win5 %____Win6 % Q________2.35___________12.0_______10.1 K________2.26___________11.8_______10.0 5________1.47___________10.2________7.8 6________1.26____________9.8________8.3 |
