Someone can count the cuts today . Should be a nickname for these 16 type hands. Believe need to make a 3 diff on my position they are even longer with a possibility of feeding my crib. I will peg opt depending on lead. dec

Might as well go for the big cut here. No value in splitting the points.

Threw 10-Q. Kept the existing points and every hope for more.

Not sure it's an eCrib issue. It's just a run of easier ones.

Too many cuts into 6-7-7-9 to pass it up. For 10-Q to pay off in the crib, the Jack or a 5 will probably have to come from the cut card.

Probably too many e-cribbage hands being submitted - I submitted a hand a couple of days ago and it wold me to watch for it in March!

10-Q is correct toss - combined values will be greater if holding 6-7-7-9. Would you toss 9-10 and play two points? Don't think so - if that's your choice what does it take to make 6-7-7-Q work. Look likes the same cards that would make 6-7-7-9 work with a greater potential score with the 4 middle cards.

Playing a Defense strategy the expected averages and Win %'s are:

DEFENSE----Hand---Pegs--Crib-Total---W3 %---W4 %
6-7-7-9____6.78+(-1.74)+3.33=8.37____54.8___63.7
6-9-10-Q___3.74+(-1.54)+5.92=8.12____49.6___61.8
6-7-7-Q____4.65+(-1.61)+4.27=7.31____51.2___61.9

10-Q to own crib beats 7-7 and 9-10 although 7-7 is close on dynamic expected averages and 9-10 is fairly close on Win %'s. Clearly 10-Q is best.

After the 7 cut I'll play off to opponent's lead.
