My thought is , if a 5 in your hand is only worth 2 points before the cut, it is best stowed in your crib.

We are in reasonable position; need to reach our 60 par hole. Tossup for me between 2-7 and 5-7. 2-7 might be a better pegger, but 5-7 has more meld potential.
