Interesting puzzle Scott-I’m going to keep the flush-we are still looking for the same cuts and any picture gives us 8 with a magic eleven and a very flexible pegging hand SallyAnn3 says: Ditto...see you tomorrow :) Am out the door soon. SallyAnn3 says: Get y our gender battle partner(s) ready for the side pool in the main. Bonnie and I are out to beat you LOL mrob2199 says: lol I’m perusing through résumé’s right now |

I decided to not be cute. I was looking for a 5 but a 3 works. Peg if possible. |

Going out in left field this morning. Every cut gets us back to the original 6, we keep the double-run open ended and 7-8 hand 1 seems sound. I don't expect the numbers to play this out, but I think it's a sneaky good play here.
Cribbage Pro Daily Scrimmage Score: 121 to 107 Hands 1-5 all have reasonable alternative discards. Wordle 1,593 3/6* ⬛🟨🟩⬛🟩 ⬛⬛🟩🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 james500 says: Hi. I could've chosen A-10, 7-8, K-7 and 8-4 instead for my first four. Maybe A-10 in hand five, but I like A-6-7-8. (I should have led the 7 though, covered by the Ace and 6). Inushtuk1 says: Hi James. Ras alway liked the A lead from that hand. fentesk says: For what it's worth, I led the 7 from A-6-7-8 and pegged 5 to dealer's 7 today. |

I like to Flush and IMO this is a more flexible and for pegging. Tough call. |

For me it was either toss 3-8 or A-4. I chose to keep the flush.
I'll be in Columbia, SC this weekend for those tournaments. Hope to see some of you there. SallyAnn3 says: It's a pretty flush that almost everything hits. See you tomorrow! Sgt Pegger says: Great tournament to attend from what I hear! |

Keeping then334 together. Potential for larger pay out from cut. |

My keep is between two discards. The flush was second. Both hand have their pegging defensive strengths. I like a variety of twelve hands cut and a possible fourteen. dec |

Another good puzzle from Scott. A few good options to consider.
Every cut A to 9 helps my hand, A-4 in the crib works with any X cards. 8-3d eleven combo might bring 31/2 whilst also allowing me to fake holding a flush. First hand so keeping the max but the flush was tempting. The cut certainly helped!
I made a critical late game pegging error and lost 😕Cribbage Pro Scrimmage 29th Oct 2025 💔Score: 115 to 121 🌟SP: 460 📅Streak: 13 https://www.cribbagepro.net/scrimmage/655/8363472/1 |

Went this way but the flush hold was very close for me. I just liked the multiple cuts that garner 12/14 with this hold, and we have a magic 11 and nice peggers with the 3-3-4 combination. scottcrib says: Yep. I'll gladly out-peg pone 6-0 with this keep if they have XXX5. Inushtuk1 says: Hi guys. I went with the flush, and have no 5-Card trap if I use my Magic Eleven; but won't the crowd you will face this weekend all lead the 5 on the second pay series, after seeing your 8, and 3? Jazzselke says: Good players yes, inexperienced no. |

Excellent puzzle Scott and yes will see you this weekend. Prefer the double-run possibilities, and pegging potential with this hand. Can utilize the Magic 11 and then trap a 5 with an unsuspecting opponent as indicated by Scott above. scottcrib says: 👍 SallyAnn3 says: Canadian Doubles partner--let's DO this again :) Jazzselke says: Will try! |

Was tempting to throw A/7, but I like the flush hold for pegging, and lots of cards help it.

Both this and 3-3-4-8 perform well on the play. The 5 trap with 3-4, and the 11 combos with 4-7 and 3-8. I only just edge out this keep with the A-4 sticking together and a slightly stronger crib with the 3 to scoop up complimentary 2s.

The flush on Defense, perhaps the 3-3-4-8 on Offense. |

Although 3-3-4-8 is lower for Loss %s I'll still select 3D-8 to discard. After the 3 cut I'll play Defense to the lead. |
