| tevdodd | Daily Scrimmage Hand. Not particularly interesting, but I want to see if rm throws it the same and hopefully justifies it here. My apologies if suits aren't perfect, but there was no flush available regardless. |

This was a touch call. for me. Didn't want a pair of kings in my crib. Rosemarie44 says: "tough" |

Wow, I was apparently really salty that day, must've lost. Sorry Rob, still interested to see your analysis here :) I forgot your discard, so whatever you do today is what you did that day :)
I think K-K is the standard here, obviously every option is sub-par, but maybe I'll learn something. Cribbage Pro Daily Scrimmage Lost again, maybe I should take 2 weeks off and quit lol (Not happening). Opp was just 1 peg too close and the J cut put them to the stink hole, last card putting them out as dealer. Hands 2 and 4 were the interesting ones. Hit both cuts, but hand 2 opp went 16-14 as well, and hand 4 while I cut to 10, opp cut to 12. 23 and 22 discards respectively. tevdodd says: Looking back at it. It was the case J that cut. |

Same here Rosemarie. I have a certain disdain for Kings toss to my crib. 6-8 could have a gap gain in the crib. Today we get dealt the second highest frequency of cards dealt totally two points. I guess between two and four points hand get more educated to learn how to play the odds better and hear you can only play with the cards you get dealt with. Defense to lead maybe luck out get the Kings at the end. dec scottcrib says: I wonder which is more likely: running the Ks out at the end for three points or getting tossed another K in the crib? |

I don't remember what I actually chose that day, but either of 6-8 or 8-10 seem okay.
6-8 works with: AAAA,666,7777,888,9999 (18/46) 8-10 works with: 5555,7777,888,9999,TTT (18/46) I'm probably a little less likely to receive a 5 card over the board though, giving 6-8 the better chance to improve. Don’t like taking points out of hand when the result is 0 points. Hoping that tossing middle cards have better chance of helping crib. |

This is the way I always play these types of hands as Dealer, using the Star Toss System. Never thought about the K's in the Crib, or (8-10). See james 500 above for why not the (8-10). Defense to the lead. But try to hold the K's for last. |

Just hoping they toss another K in my crib.
Too close today! I had to peg out to beat it. Cribbage Pro Scrimmage 15th Nov 2025 🏆Score: 121 to 118 🌋SP: 1445 📅Streak: 4 https://www.cribbagepro.net/scrimmage/672/8363472/1 |

What Gary (and Scott) said. Maybe I'll catch them throwing away a King, too. |

Can’t bring myself to keep the 10 with the Kings. Had that 10 been a Jack or Queen my toss would have been 6-8.

How likely is the pone to try and balk our crib by tossing a K,10? I'm keeping the peggers. |

Interesting. I was 6/8 all day long, trying to get a middle card from my opponent. |
